ANUA is a fictional sparkling water brand created using a bottom-up design process. Starting from a simple pattern only using the letter "U", the project developed into a full packaging system. The final result reflects a clean, cohesive identity inspired by pattern and color.

In the Beginning

The project began with a black and white pattern made entirely from the letter “u,” arranged on a grid to keep it uniform. From there, color was introduced using a limited palette, which helped define different flavors while keeping the system cohesive. The rounded shapes and random pattern suggests carbonation and soda can details, guiding the transition from pattern to packaging.

Build a Brand

Anua shows how starting without a fixed outcome can lead to a more exploratory and flexible design process. By allowing each step to inform the next, the project developed into a cohesive system built from a single idea. It highlights how experimentation and openness can lead to unexpected and effective design solutions.
